I have to do it all the time (I'm a developer and do some of my work in .Net) but I hate it!  How often do you have a chance to see how your idol (and a scientific genius) uses his computer? I did, when Professor Dawkins was troubleshooting the projector! I id'd all of the applications that I could identify in the task bar, but feel free to fill in the gaps in my knowledge!
