My first time trying to do Y-seams properly, instead of just guessing. Turned out to be much easier than I'd anticipated - just goes to show the value of good instructions! I love the way the pressed seams look where they meet.

Based on Kaffe Fassett's Super Triangles quilt, from Glorious Patchwork. But in completely different colours, and grown from a cot quilt to approx. queen size.

This quilt was tough-going, and took about two years to make (with plenty of time off!). I intended it as a Christmas present to my brother in 2009, and ended up giving it to him for his birthday in 2011.

It seemed like every stage took so much longer than anticipated, and the number of times I had to go back and cut more triangles...

But I am very happy with the way it turned out!

Inscription on the reverse - you can still see some of the washable pen here. Plus the end of the thread poking out on the bottom of the "F". At this point, I just wanted it done and no longer cared about the mistakes!
