Kitchen timer

Kitchen timer by Helen in Wales.
Here's my tomato-shaped kitchen timer. I would be lost without my timers. I actually use an ugly digital one for cooking, but this is the timer I use for helping me get tasks done.

The only way I can cope with boring tasks is to say, "I'll just do 15 mintues." This timer has quite a gentle ring, so I use it for that. The digital one has a shrill beep to ensure that I don't burn the dinner because I've got distracted by the computer!

PS. I gave this the Orton effect to make it look more interesting. :)

Oh, this is too cute! I thought it was a sauce bottle at first. Lovely colour and always 5.5 minutes left to play! :o)

Now you mention it, it is rather like those squeezy sauce bottles you get in cafes. :) I never thought of that before. I seem to recall there were a few different shapes such as a burger etc. when I bought this.

It's not my own idea, I picked it up from an online support group for people who have problems with clutter. :)

Hi Helen,
we are a small Sydney publisher interested in using your image of the tomato timer for a book we are publishing soon.
If you could let us know if you would be interested that would be great.

Best Regards
