But NOT HDR, folks. JPEG does not support HDR, nor does your browser.

In fact, this is just the opposite of HDR: Its dynamic range has been compressed into a narrow range, rendering the cartoonish image. LDR is a much more accurate description.

Not that it doesn't have its own merits!
