@luxuryluke: It certainly is.

I heard there's a sequel in the works ... to be directed by Genndy Tartakovsky (of Samurai Jack and Clone Wars fame). Incidentally, Genndy Tartakovsky is also set to direct the new Astro Boy film (or is it a TV series?).

All this revamped nostalgia reminds me there's a Ghostbusters 3 in the works (with Ben Stiller replacing Bill Murray).

Good, or bad ... it's nice to remember the brilliance of the originals.
