I watched the live cam and took pix of the birds on the nest atop an 80 ft light pole, they are banded and monitored for study. Watch them come and go to feed the babies in daytime hours.

The hawk parent turns her back for a second [3 babies in nest] and the audacious starling dared to come and perch there for a second and then flies to it's own nearby nest with a mouthful of grass. I watched this on live cam and was lucky to be making a screen shot at the time to capture the moment! Hawks eat starlings!
