Elementary School in Honduras

This little elementary school was a long morning hike up the mountain from Copan Ruinas in Honduras. Copan Ruinas is right near the border with Guatemala, so I'm not sure exactly which country we were in after that hike. The kids were charming and very friendly, although many were malnourished and shorter than they should have been. Photo by Isaac Holeman August 2006.
