Une autre photo d’un lever de soleil spectaculaire au lac Saint André.

Il s’agit d’un vertorama (panorama vertical) composé de 3 photos HDR. Les photos HDR sont elles-mêmes composées de 3 expositions (-2ev ; 0ev ; +2ev) et ont été réalisées avec Photomatix 4.1.

Les conditions s’y prêtant à merveille, j’ai voulu créer un effet miroir. C’est pourquoi j’ai choisi le format carré, que j’ai placé l’horizon au centre et que je n’ai pas inclus de premier plan.

Mes amis, je crois que ce jour là j’ai vu un de mes plus impressionnants levers de soleil…

An other photo of a spectacular sunrise at the « Saint andré » lake.

It’s a vertorama (a vertical panorama) composed from 3 HDR photos. And every HDR photo is composed from 3 exposures (-2ev ; 0ev ; +2ev) and tonemapped with Photomatix 4.1.

My intention was to create a mirror effect, so I chose the square format, I placed the horizon on the center of the composition and I did not include a foreground.

My friends, I think it was one of the most impressive sunrise I experienced in my life…

Une photo un peu différente aujourd’hui. Il s’agit d’une scène que j’ai photographiée au lac de Sainte-Hélène en Savoie et pour laquelle j’ai couplé 2 techniques : le HDR et l’exposition longue.

J’ai installé un filtre ND B+W 110 sur mon Canon EF-S 10-22 et pris 3 expositions (8s ; 33s ; 129s). J’ai ensuite utilisé Photomatix 4.1 pour créer le HDR.

A different photo today. I captured this scene at the « Sainte-Hélène » lake in France. I used 2 technics : HDR and longue exposure.

I put a ND B+W 110 filter on my Canon EF-S 10-22 and took 3 exposures (8s ; 33s ; 129s). Then I used Photomatix 4.1 for the HDR tonemapping.

J’ai pris cette photo au lac Saint André lors d’une matinée incroyable. Alors que le soleil devait encore se lever, la fine couche de brouillard qui recouvrait les lieux s’est teintée de rose, donnant au lac une atmosphère un peu magique.

J’ai utilisé mon Canon EOS 50D couplé à un objectif Samyang 8mm Fisheye pour prendre les 6 expositions (1/4s; 1/2s; 1s; 2s; 4s; 8s à f/11) qui m’ont servies à créer le HDR avec Photomatix 4.1.

I took this photo at the « Saint André » Lake in France during an incredible morning. Just before the sunrise, the fog was tinged with pink tones giving to the lake a magic atmosphere.

I used my Canon EOS 50D with a Samyang 8mm Fisheye lens and 6 exposures (1/4s; 1/2s; 1s; 2s; 4s; 8s at f/11) for creating the HDR tonemapping with Photomatix 4.1.

Cette photo a été prise au lac d’Aiguebelette en Savoie. Bien que plutôt proche de chez moi c’est la première fois que je vais y faire un tour !

J’ai utilisé un Canon EOS 50D avec un objectif Samyang 8mm Fisheye pour réaliser ce cliché. Le traitement HDR à lui été fait avec Photomatix 4.1 à partir de 7 expositions (1/8s; 1/4s; 1/2s, 1s; 2s; 4s; 8s à f/11).

I took this one at the "Aiguebelette" lake in France. It's the first time i visit this lake. It's a very beautiful place!

I used my Canon EOS 50D with my Samyang 8mm Fish Eye lens for taking this HDR photo.
The HDR is composed from 7 exposures (1/8s; 1/4s; 1/2s, 1s; 2s; 4s; 8s at f/11) and was tonemapped with Photomatix 4.1.

Voici le plafond de la cathédrale de Clermont-Ferrand (Notre Dame de l'Assomption) en Auvergne.

J’ai utilisé un objectif Samyang Fisheye 8mm pour réaliser cette photo. C’est l’objectif idéal pour ce genre de cliché, pourtant le résultat aurait pu être bien meilleur avec un trépied.

Comme j’ai du prendre les photos à main levée j’ai réglé mon boitier à 800 ISO et l’ouverture du Samyang à f/3.5. Résultat : beaucoup de bruit et une qualité générale des clichés vraiment mauvaise…

Je suis néanmoins plutôt satisfait du résultat final car je trouve qu’il met bien en valeur le côté vertigineux de l’architecture gothique des lieux.

J’ai réalisé le traitement HDR à partir de 3 expositions (-2ev ; 0ev ; +2ev) avec Photomatix 4.1.

This is the ceiling of the cathedral of Clermont-Ferrand (Notre Dame de l'Assomption) in France photographed with a canon EOS 50D and a Samyang 8mm fisheye lens.

A fisheye lens is great for this kind of photo, but the tripod was not allowed in the cathedral. So I set my Canon EOS 50D at 800 ISO and opened the lens at f/3.5…

The quality of the original files is not very well, but I am satisfied by the final result because I think he emphasizes the gothic architecture of the cathedral.

I used 3 exposures (-2ev; 0ev; +2ev) at 800 ISO and Photomatix 4.1 for the HDR tonemapping.
