Promenade automnale au lac Saint André.
Cette photo est un vertorama, c'est à dire un panorama vertical. Elle est composée de 3 clichés HDR.

Chaque cliché est lui même composé de 3 expositions (0ev; -2ev; +2ev) et réalisé avec Photomatix4.1.

J'ai utilisé un Canon EOS 50D couplé à un objectif Canon EF-S 10-22mm. Les photos ont été prises à main levée car je n'avais pas mon trépied avec moi.

Autumnal walk at the lake "Saint André".
This photo is a vertorama (a vertical panorama) of 3 HDR photos. Every HDR photo is composed from 3 exposures (-2ev; 0ev; +2ev) and tonemapped with Photomatix 4.1.

I used a Canon EOS 50D with a Canon EF-S 10-22mm lens. I did not have my tripod, so I took the photos freehand.

Est-il nécessaire d'avoir du matériel de pointe (reflex, objectifs de folie...) pour faire du HDR?
A mon avis, non... mais bien sur ça aide quand même! En tout état de cause j'ai réalisé cette photo avec un appareil compact (un Panasonic DMC TZ7) qui n'autorise que du jpeg, ne permet pas de réglages manuels mais qui possède néanmoins un mode auto-bracketing rudimentaire (0ev; -1ev; +1ev).

Le plus important pour moi, quand on fait du HDR (et de la photo en général), est de garder à l'esprit que l'essentiel est d'avoir un bon sujet et une bonne lumière. La technique HDR (matos, logiciels...) ne servira qu'à magnifier ce que vous avez capturé, jamais à rendre intéressant un sujet à la noix, jamais à rendre extraordinaire une scène ordinaire.

Cette petite chapelle est située au milieu de la forêt au dessus de la ville d'Aix-Les-Bains. On se croirait dans un conte de fées la-bas... Et croyez moi il y a quelque chose de magique dans cet endroit...

It's compulsory to have a DSLR camera to make HDR photos?
I think not, but of course it's better to have one of it;-) In any case I made this HDR photo using a Panasonic DMC-TZ7, a compact camera without manual settings or Raw mode...

For me the most important things are a good subject and a beautiful light. Keep in mind that HDR itself does not make a good photo, HDR doesn’t make up for bad composition or bad framing, HDR can’t make an ordinary scene look extraordinary.

This small chapel is situated in the middle of the forest near the city of Aix-Les-Bains. This place look like a fairy tale. And believe me, there is a kind of magic over there, particulary in winter!

J'ai pris cette photo il y a quelques mois en Sicile. L'île que l'on voit à l'horizon se nomme "Isola delle Femmine" ce qui en français veux dire "L'Ile des Femmes'. Elle est située non loin de la ville de Palerme.

Pour ce cliché j'ai encore une fois combiné deux techniques: le HDR et l'Exposition Longue.
J'ai utilisé un filtre B+W 110 ND sur un objectif Canon EF-S 10-22mm pour prendre 3 expositions (5s; 20s et 85s). Ensuite j'ai utilisé Photomatix pour réaliser le HDR.

I took this photo a few months ago in Sicily at the "Isola delle Femmine" (Womens Island) near the city of Palermo.

I combined 2 technics: long exposure and HDR.
I used a B+W 110 ND filter with a Canon EF-S 10-22mm lens for taking the photo and Photomatix 4.1 for making the HDR tonemapping from 3 exposures (5s; 20s; 85s).

Voici une photo représentant un paysage typique de ma région au petit matin.
Cette photo a été réalisée dans les vignes surplombant le lac Saint André avec un Canon EOS 50D et un objectif Samyang 8mm Fisheye. J'aime beaucoup cet objectif qui permet de réaliser, entre autre, de spectaculaires photos de paysages.

J'ai utilisé 3 expositions (0ev; -2eb; +2ev) pour réaliser le HDR avec Photomatix 4.1.

This is a typical landscape of my region in France at the morning. The lake is one of my favorite places, the lake "Saint André".

I used a Canon EOS 50D with a Samyang 8mm Fisheye lens. With this lens it's very easy to take beautiful and spectacular landscapes, I really love it!

It's a 3 HDR exposures (-2ev; 0ev; +2ev) tonemapped with Photomatix 4.1.

Voiçi un coucher de soleil vraiment particulier que j'ai photographié cet été en Sicile.
Alors que le ciel chaotique et très sombre laissait tomber quelques gouttes de pluie, les derniers rayons du soleil
ont, tout à coup, éclairé une partie de l'horizon d'une lumière rouge vif.

J'ai utilisé un Canon EOS 50D (avec le firmware Magic Lantern) avec un objectif Samyang 8mm Fisheye. Le HDR a été réalisé avec Photomatix 4.1 à partir de 9 expositions (de -4ev à +4ev)

This is a very particular sunset taken this summer in Sicily.
The sky was very dark and chaotic, but suddenly the sun illuminated the horizon with a spectacular red light.

I used a Canon EOS 50D (with the Magic Lantern firmware) and a Samyang 8mm Fisheye lens. The HDR tonemapping was made by Photomatix 4.1 from 9 exposures (-4ev to +4ev).
