Don't Shoot Till You See The Whites Of Their Eyes

A breeze gently moved the warm moist air as I crawled through the jungles of my backyard. I had walked miles already in this 10' x 10' area of land. I scaled pepples and crossed rivers caused by the old sprinkler. Soon, I came across what I hunted for. The ugly Bug. I raised my can of Raid, aimed and just as I was about to shoot, it looked at me. I dropped the raid, screamed, ran into the house and slammed the patio door.

As I lay against the cool glass of the patio doors, I heard the words, Did you kill the bug, come from up the stairs. Yes, I replied.
