How to link between Cards

Date and Time stamp defines "absolute name" of the card.
Use the absolute name to link to the card. Therefore, the time stamp must be unique.
How to link between Cards by hawkexpress.
The "date" and "time" stamp of a cards define their "absolute name". This is why the time stamp must be unique, but not necessary to be accurate. In addition, it is easy to find a specific card, according to the stamp, if all cards are kept in chronological order. This technique was first introduced on the 2-channel.

Looks like your system is efficient, simple, and easy to use. I like the idea of time-stamping. I too have time-stamped my cards, but never thought to use the stamp as a reference point. Your link to "the 2-channel" here - is this available in English? I would love to see your GTD process in more detail.

The 2-channel is only in Japanese language. This link may help to understand what is "the 2-channel". In the thread anonymous people (including me) discussed about indexcard (情報カード). One guy ask some advice on introducing the GTD with indexcard. And the other guy tell to put time-stamp for every indexcard for referencing (he (me? ;)) invented this method). I'll put more pictures about my indexcarding and GTD things here. :)

Do you implement any kind of analogue "trackback"? In other words, does 2006.7.14 18.06 know that it has been linked to? If not, would there be value in having this kind of function?

That's nice idea :)
I haven't included the trackback feature yet.

This system is analog. But there are many things that able to include benefit from digital world, like weblog, filesystem etc.

One thing I must concern is that whether the new feature make this system complicated or not. If the system become complicated, I subconsciously resist it.

At least, however, the "trackback" is easy to implement, and may not corrupt this system.

Reminds me of my old Sharp Zaurus. You could link text files to address cards to contact details, etc.
