This is the first time I purchased mooncake. I'm not a fan, maybe because the thought of a whole egg yolk in the middle of a dense cake that's been sitting out for god knows how long, is kinda gross.
The packaging was attractive and the barrista assured me there are no egg yolks in these mooncakes. The price was right too, so I got a box of two to share with the gang.
The Tiramisu flavor was rather bland - no sweetness nor depth. There was a slight scent of coffee, but I couldn't taste it. Verdict, a disappointment.
