Self-indulgent?

I'm still learning how to use my new flash set up and decided to take a picture of me in my office/studio/loft. Whatever it might be called, it's a mess. Books, paints, no longer needed toys and even a cot. You'd think we were super tidy as that's a spare Henry sitting behind me.

So, anyway, that's me looking a little more smug than I think I usually look.

A six month exposure from June 21st 2011 to December 21st 2011.

I used an Illy coffee can and made a pinhole from part of a Coke Can. It sat in my front porch capturing the arc of the sun and moon.

The scan isn't the best I could have done. I panicked and went for speed over quality.

With the impending demise of Olympus looking incresingly likely, I thought I'd capture a family portrait. Obviously not everyone could be present but the Harragan branch of the family enjoyed the brief reunion.
