I knew immediately where you had taken this shot from the thumbnail pic. I looove Sea Ranch - the cypress rows are amazing to walk through. Great shot, love the spots of moss peeking down the way.

Nice sense of enclosure and perspective. Looks a bit like trees line-dancing. This must be a darkish place; I can't imagine the lighting in this space would ever appear this good to our eye alone. Score one for the wonders of digital photography.

This is a very creative approach to composition. And it give strong message.

On the contrary, on flickr, I often see too many beautifully exposed and composed photos that communicate nothing. It's rampant in wedding photography and advertising photography, of course. But I also see it in editorial photography.
