"Galactic Relaxation"

Check out my New Time Lapse Video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=A7lWQm1uAek

Probably one of my favorite things to do is sit outside underneath the stars. For a Texas June night, the temperatures were decently cool.

Single 30 second exposure, me relaxing, red LED light to illuminate myself and 6" Dob telescope.

    Shot with a Nikon D700
Tokina 16-28mm f2.8 Lens, ISO 3200, WB 4000K, 30 second exposure. Location: Comanche, TX

This is great. How far away are you from the nearest city? I can see some light pollution, but the fact that the Milky Way is still so visible is quite a feat.

Thank You, The light pollution seen in this photo is from a very small town about 15miles south of my location.
