GARDENING mad

I am mad about gardening - I can't help it !

I love growing food, flowers, trees, shrubs, taking cuttings, growing seeds, clothing walls with climbers, making compost...

There's an intense joy in just walking around the garden early in the morning or just before sunset - gathering food for supper, looking at all the wonderful colours and shapes, smelling the perfumes and watching the wild animals and insects who visit or have set up home here.

I garden organically and use the principles of Permaculture.

...and I sometimes get mixed up between gardening for eating and gardening for flowers and shrubs. I've a lot of edible flowers and some inedible vegetables that look nice.
