Eyes are truely stunningly beautiful

Coyotes seem like fox/wolf hybrids. Lovely!

His ears are both perfectly pointed :D

A coyote first...I was hiking through the woods at Palos in the Bullfrog Lake area when I found some shrubs lit up by the sun that were attracting cardinals and blue jays. So I stopped, hid in some brush, and waited. About half an hour later this guy appeared and was walking towards me. I waited as long as I could to take a shot. He heard the shutter, looked up at me, and bolted. This is the second shot after looking up.

INSTANT FAVE!!!!!! You waited in the bushes for HALF AN HOUR??? Boy, aren't you patient. This is the BEST close up day light shot of a coyote I've ever seen...so your patience paid off. I bet you really startled this poor critter when you snapped the picture? GREAT results....so sharp and well exposed. I love coyotes. They wander around when i'm hiking with my dog and keep their distance, so i never get any good pics. BRAVO.
