Coyote

Newer Older

A coyote first...I was hiking through the woods at Palos in the Bullfrog Lake area when I found some shrubs lit up by the sun that were attracting cardinals and blue jays. So I stopped, hid in some brush, and waited. About half an hour later this guy appeared and was walking towards me. I waited as long as I could to take a shot. He heard the shutter, looked up at me, and bolted. This is the second shot after looking up.

This photo would make an excellent addition to the Encyclopedia of Life. Please consider adding it to the EOL Images group.

EOL needs images for all 1.8 million known species, so you are also invited to share any of your other good photos, too.
