RAW 52/52 - My big Finale!
For my last two ring postings I made a series of rings based on a Christmas theme. Each ring began with a little dish of PMC stamped with a snowflake motif and I treated each one differently. I wanted to show how versatile metal clay is and that it's just like any other medium, part of the available things people can use to make truly custom work.
#1. a watch crystal over red glass glitter inside a soldered brass bezel, soldered sterling shank.
#2. a laced garland of tiny garnets, PMC shank soldered on in the same stamped pattern.
#3. a pool of resin floating faceted aquamarine briolettes round side up and golden charlottes, PMC shank soldered on in the same star pattern.
#1. laced tiny pearls and aquamarines, PMC shank soldered on in the same stamped pattern.
#2. This ring was #51 - Stamped PMC leaves, 2 flower shaped sterling bits, sterling shank, all soldered together, rose cut peridot.
#3. soldered detail, soldered sterling shank.
Hand formed! Tumbled! Soldered! Oxidized! Assembled! Polished! Celebrated! Good Times!
MERRY METAL CHRISTMAS! . . . that's a wrap!
