Squid (for Plush You)

I made this OOAK squid for Plush You, an art show featuring softies of all kinds. The show is hosted by a group of shops (Fancy, Schmancy, and Nancy & Pants) in downtown Seattle. For more information, see the Plush You blog at plushyou.blogspot.com

This squid is significantly larger than my other squids, and his arms are quite long. For this project, I also ventured away from my Cascade 220 stash into the realm of Lamb's Pride Worsted. It was an interesting experiment to work a softie in yarn that contains 15% Mohair, and, consequently, fuzzes up with the least bit of handling. The thick single ply was pretty difficult on my hands, and I have a couple of blisters to show for it!

All in all, a fun (though time-consuming) project. :)
