My addition for Project 104! This week's theme was Vintage which can mean a lot of things depending on who you are. To me, it meant walking around through NYC thrift stores until I found this old rotary dial phone, and immediately wanted to make a photo mimicking the old romance comics. This photo is a lot more humorous than my normal work, and I like the change. It makes me want to do an entire series of pinups a la Lichtenstein...

I recently joined the ladies and fellas of Project 104 to get the rust out of my gears and prepare for another 365. As the group is just getting started, this week's theme was A New Beginning, and my theatrical background lead me to thinking about the overture before the curtains rise on a show. This image is an addition to my Parasomnia series, and is the first of (hopefully) many more this summer. I'm taking Parasomnia in a different direction, one that I think will encompass my original intentions with more well informed ideas and practices. I'm excited to see what happens!
