I've tried to use a higher contrast in this image than usual to separate the shadows from the white background.

By doing this the cross is more 'bold' and the grainy apperance makes the image look 'old' and textured compared to the smoothness of the cross.

The tattoo is also a nice touch because it's bold, sold and deep black.
