    --------------------------------
The Chevrolet Blazer (4WD model T-10) and the similar GMC S-15 Jimmy (4WD model T-15) were mid-size SUVs from General Motors. Production began alongside the larger K5 Blazer and Jimmy in 1983 and lasted through 2005. In the United States retail sales after 2001 were limited to two-door Blazer models, all other models being sold to fleets, until April 20, 2005. Retail sales of the (two-door) Jimmy were limited to the Canadian market after 2001.

The S-series SUVs, so named because they were based on the Chevrolet S-10 and GMC S-15 pickup trucks, were produced in Moraine, Ohio, Shreveport, Louisiana, and Sao Paulo, Brazil (the Brazilian version is based on the second-generation S-series; even though production ceased in the U.S., new Blazers are locally produced in Brazil with their own sheetmetal stampings).

Maybe this is too late for this comment, but I thought I'd say it anyway!
The sensor noise is very visible. I think this wonderful photo would be much better without that noise!

You can try a noise reduction software and see the results.

@See Sharp: I shoot this with ISO 400 (the highest ISO) of my 1/5.2" censor point and shoot camera, and I used some NR tool over it so you can see a photo instead of a bunch of chromatic dots here ;)
More using of such tools may reduce the sharpness of edges of the car, which increases the ambiguity of man goal of the panning.

Not sure what you use for NR, I'm very happy with Imagenomic Noiseware Professional.

I tried the full-resolution version of this photo, result looked very sharp. At actual size, the sharpness is not affected at all. I even didn't spend time configuring the tool, just used the default settings. (Although some very low frequency color noise still remains after the NR, but still...)

I don't know how to post the processed image back to you, I'm new in flickr.

@See Sharp: I use NeatImage (full version). The NeatImage seems to be the best of all, by almost all reviews I read over the net.
BTW, this photo is the first (or at least one of the first) experiences of me with this great NR tool. I think If I retry it, I can get a better result; while I eager to see your result and professional information too.
You can send the photo to me via email, or you can upload it on Flickr as a private photo, and use the link to the photo source (not the page) here.

I have seen the votes for Neat Image, but I've always liked the Noiseware Professional more. I think it gives me much better results...

Anyway, I happened to have Neat Image (full version) installed on my PC too, and tried this shot with both of them. The result of Noiseware appeared much better to me. (Specially at high rate of noise reduction)

      Here's the result:

I think this is just as sharp as the original one, but clearer. Although some of the blurred parts "look" sharper in the original, because of their surroundings. (look closely to the tree in front of the Jimmy - is that a tree by the way?!)

One other point, if you want better noise reduction results, do it BEFORE any processing (even contrast/levels/etc.). This image has been leveled, so I think the original one would make a better result.

@See Sharp: Thanks guy. Looks great, I should try it myself. Now it's download progress started when i'm typing this reply ;)

Great panning shot , I think the tree makes it interesting. Yes, most P&S cameras are useless over 100ASA but I think you have done well with this one with or without the noise.
