Poor Frog & Macrography

I've got this frog when it tried to hide inside muds of a little river.
Safa (the photographer in this shot) showed it to me..

Note that I shoot this with my left hand (while I'm not a left handed!)..

This photo is taken in 4th Iranian flickr gathering, near Choghakhor lake, Charmahal Sate, Iran.

He looks well fed. I lived on a small pond and listened the Bull Frogs sing, "giga rum - giga rum". People eat their legs - taste like chicken. I killed one and fried the legs. I can't believe I did that. I still reget it.

A very nice image, original and creative. I wish that the horizon line was not tilted, and that the main subject (the frog) did not had the light on the back, casting the shadow to the front.

I prefer the quiet and perfect composition of the challenged image.

I agree with d_oracle. Perhaps some post processing could help with the lighting (the problem with this pic in my opinion). All in all a fair challenge, but I prefer the defenders.
