Wow - incredible sun-rays! Exposure and color values are great also. And I think the frame adds to the impact.

Some neat light effects and the colors are pretty cool. I'd like more detail in the clouds. They seem to be mult-layered but run altogether with the contrast you have chosen. Therefore, this becomes too abstract to be a classic in my book. But still an extremely nice photo.

I was in doubt abothe the crop myself, but at last found this crop (which is the original cadre of shot) better, because it also shows the ground materials, which claims here it is the city, not a desert ;)

Now this good stuff. I love the colour. Only technical thing is that I'd strongly suggest that you lose the border-- the sunset seems to be reaching out of the photograph, and the thick black border has the effect of containing it.

Only loses the half point because there are lots of sunset pictures around-- therefore any straight sunset picture has less impact than it would otherwise.
