Tehran Sky

Tehran's sky is almost hazy and smoky, which I couldn't see neighter the details of the city nor the southern mountains (which are visible in this photo, bottom left side).
Once a day I woke up and saw this lovely view, immidiately brought my camera and tripod and took this shot!

You know, Tehran is one of the biggest city all over the world, the mountains you can see in left side of the photo are "Bibi Shahrbanoo" mountains which are more than 25 kilometers away from our house. (Our house is located at the northern mountains slipe of Tehran, near the Jamshidieh park)

This is my first DRI try.
This photo is taken from my balcony (at northern part of Tehran, Jamshidieh-Jamaran)

Dear snail_in_motion, unfortunately Tehran has a very bad weather most of the days. This shot is taken in one of rarely good days. Most of the days, I could not see the cisty from my balcony because of the smoke :(

The sky certainly is stunning, but I think this shot would be greatly improved by making the city more prevalent in the composition, to add more perpsective. I think Marvin's suggestion of adding more foreground would work well.

I'm not completely clear on what your aim is, but I'll assume that it's "capturing the sky above Tehran." I think you've certainly done this, but it could have been accentuated with more attention to composition.

I think I'd like to see a little more detail in terms of the city, and the hills beyond, they seem a little hazey - which is something I seem to suffer from a lot myself in photos! But I love the green of the plants and the sky is very pretty - with the clouds disappearing off into the background as they are, it really gives it a sense of perspective.

@Reidl Romeo: Thanks for comment. FYI, I just saturated the yellow channel in photoshop, and what you see in trees is because of yellowish light on them which saturated by me, but the sky color and other things are natural.
