Well, tell us about the camera.

It's doing much better than it was a couple days ago, though it won't go into Program or Full Auto mode. That doesn't really bother me since I never use those anyway, but obviously something happened in there that hasn't fixed itself. Makes me a little nervous.

My wife would tell you to add salt and lime juice.

To the cucumber, not the camera.

      I'm not so sure myself.

This cucumber was served with rice wine vinegar, sugar and salt. Well, not this slice in particular, but the rest of it. Salt and lime juice sounds interestingly good as well!

OK, so clue a noob in. How did you shoot this?

    6. Brother O'Mara 65 months ago | reply

Oh, I'm sorry, I forgot. Your Nikon probably didn't ship with the cucumber flash attachment. That's a Canon thing.

The cucumber flash definitely does not come standard, but I think it will pay for itself eventually.

So my desk is basically a big piece of frosted glass. I plopped a cucumber slice on it and stuck a light bulb directly beneath it. Tada!

And you're there. You haven't had to wait.

"Cucumber flash attachment" sounds like a bug, not a feature. ;p

OK, frost glass. That makes sense. Thanks.
