Thanks. That old tree to the left is probably the biggest contributor to the creep factor. It was pretty hoary-looking. I don't know if they cut it down or not since they've demolished this building. It would be really sad if they did.

There are often grand old trees with a faintly eerie aspect around these buildings. Some of the most impressive were around the Kirkbride in Danvers. I'm pretty sure those are still standing for the most part and are going to be spared from the axe.
