Warner built this £4.5m cinema complex on the site of a WWII bombed rail goods depot in 1989. It was fun, but did not thrive. In 2004 it closed and was sold to Northumbria University (Newcastle Polytechnic). The site has been cleared and this smart structure is no more.

I passed this building in July 2004, and these notices were still up, but the Warner Village cinemas signs on the building were all removed.
