CFL swirl (HDR)

Inspired by a crop of one of Geekgirly's neon shots the other day. Hers is cooler I think cuz of the blue color...

HDR'd it up to pull out some of the details!

Oh and check out this shot of a CFL by SmackNally! According to the description on his shot:

If every household in America replaced just three 60-watt incandescent light bulbs with CFLs, we would reduce as much pollution as if we took 3.5 million cars off the roads.

I've heard similar but can't cite any sources... but I know my house is loaded with them...

And you must view large on black.

Yeah I read something about that recently... can't win. The mercury is only an issue if the CFL bulbs aren't disposed of properly... and unfortunately most of them aren't.

Yeah, it's the light fixture it's in... maybe I'll do another and keep more of the fixture in place...
