The story behind this photo:
Two days after the official surrender of the German forces in the Netherlands on may 5th 1945, shots were fired at civilians and British troops on Bren Carriers as they celebrated the liberation of the city.
Members of the Dutch resistance and Dutch Internal forces returned fire with Stenguns.
