I hope that you spared time crossing the border with the motorcycle.
Ten years ago I crossed the border by bus and I had to wait 7 hours (and then other 5 hours to come back to Bulgaria)

The border is much more open now, it still took about an hour in total, but that is nothing like what you had to do. BUT, the Ukraine is still that bad. At least last summer it was. We skipped the cars in the line up and it still took 3 hours. :( If we had not skipped (most of them waved us ahead so we didnt feel TOO guilty) it would have been 7 - 10 hours.
