Roy Beckhoff was a kind man. He left his job as a French teacher to take over his family's tiny key business in Philadelphia. Everyone in the neighborhood knew him. He said it was the best job to have because he could spend his days talking to people, listening to NPR, and reading French novels. When he died, this memorial was created on the front of his closed up shop. People were asked to tape up a key Roy had made.
