Shot in center gai; a busy street in Shibuya, Tokyo; where the hip walk around to see and be seen, shop till they drop. Countless of lights and huge screens advertise sales and the latest, greatest wear. Sales reps of shoe or clothing stores shout their latest offerings and if that wasn't enough there are always many people on the prowl trying to talk you into their bar.
Yes, Tokyo can be quite the sensory overload; even to people who are accustomed to other large cities.
Thankfully, Tokyo is such a diverse city that you can find yourself in busy, hectic area's such as these one moment, and another moment you're in a tranquil park; enjoying your boxed lunch or meal whilst watching a tea ceremony.
This, brutally intense diversity; and it's cinematic nature (every photo in Tokyo I take may as well come from a movie) is the reason why I love this city; and go back to it several times a year.
Having said that; it does feel good going trough pictures behind my desk instead of cramping behind my laptop in a small Tokyo hotel room :-)
Anyway - Spot metered the face, upped the exposure on the reading by 0.7 for the "glow"
