British Waterways

British Waterways

Finally got out with my camera this afternoon - it feels like it's been like months. It was also my first opportunity to give my B&W ND110 a proper workout. I'd say I'm quite pleased with the results.

Monochrome conversion done in Lightroom.

Up the Stream to An Cliseam

Up the Stream to An Cliseam

The view up the stream as it runs down from the highest point in the Outer Hebribes - An Cliseam. Later in the afternoon we climbed the mountain - a relatively steep hike, but very satisfying and with stunning views to the Scottish mainland to the East and as far as St Kilda to the West.

The Arctic Tern

The Arctic Tern

I've just returned from a trip to the rather stunning Outer Hebrides off the North West coast of Scotland. We had 5 amazing days of driving and hiking - it's a photographer's paradise and up there with the most stunning parts of the British Isles.

This Arctic Tern was fishing on the beach at Vatersay.

More photos to follow.
