[This was taken in 2003 with my very first digital cam by Mercury, which had a low resolution ... so pardon the non-sharpness.]

It was a winter evening in Pakistan, and this old man was lying on a road side -- shivering. He was trying to keep alive the almost extinguished fire in front of him ... and that of his own as well.

His pot. his rags, his sack ... his world lay around him. I explored his sack to find something to cover him with and all I found were a few more rags. I covered him with whatever I found, as much as I found. He was in such a dire state - he just lay there ... shivering.
