Though it was quite spontaneous but it's one of my fav shots! This is a chick of Cochin type [link] , one of the best chickens that I ever had (notice the 'hairy' legs :P)! They are huge and full of feathers. And they look great as well.

Post production in Photoshop to make it more impactful. So what better than transforming everything but the chick to B&W.

The girl, the sheep and the innocent eyes.
The word 'sheepish' is used here reflecting innocence/shyness (although the word may not mean that at all).

The 18th century proverb says: "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder."
So can I say: "Innocence is in the eye of the sheepish." ;)

[This was taken in 2003 with my very first digital cam by Mercury, which had a low resolution ... so pardon the non-sharpness.]

It was a winter evening in Pakistan, and this old man was lying on a road side -- shivering. He was trying to keep alive the almost extinguished fire in front of him ... and that of his own as well.

His pot. his rags, his sack ... his world lay around him. I explored his sack to find something to cover him with and all I found were a few more rags. I covered him with whatever I found, as much as I found. He was in such a dire state - he just lay there ... shivering.

The wall behind reads: "Near Cafe Clifton".
