The chase, "The Look"
... think I might have over done the blue overlay, but I'm happy with the over all look.
So, on Newbie's ride the other day, he made a new friend. This little guy, Spencer, was with his dad on this beautiful day. Nate stopped to "say , 'hi'," without actually introducing himself, and then took off. The chase was on! His dad and I exchanged a proper introduction while our sons raced into the sunset. Then Spencer bumped into Nate as he was passing. Spencer's dad was about to speak out in dissaproval of his son, but I chimed in and said, "That's ok. Rubbin's racin'."
A little while later, Spencer started to falter on the climb. Nate pulled ahead, turned around and gave Spencer "The Look" (If you don't follow the Tour de France, check this out.)
The funniest part of the evening, as they went a little further on, Spencer hopped off his bike and ran up to the door of one of his little friends, Aiden, who also lives in our development. Aiden's dad let Spencer in, along with Nate, who was not far behind. Me and Spencer's dad followed along, and we chatted while the kids played. Good times.
