QR Code on an add in a train. QR Codes where original developed by Toyota to tag their car parts with more detailed data. This code can hold anything, even binary data like a picture.
Normaly on ads it is a URL for a mobile phone site. Some people have it on their business cards and then it is name, address, etc.
