The Cherokees at Volstead by Dan Sumption.

I got the band to quickly pose for this shot in the doorway to uber-exclusive London private members club Volstead, before playing their showcase gig there.

Strobist info: one ancient flash head fired by ebay trigger, hand-held over my head and pointed behind me at the 45-degree angled mirrored staircase ceiling. Plus some dodging, burning and contrast enhancement in Photoshop.

(the dodging & burning wasn't totally succesful on Nort's head - will have another try later)
