There are weeks when I feel the light is being nice to me and weeks when I really get disillusioned by it all. Thankfully the last few weeks have been kind and this is another one I am particularly pleased with.
Taken on the slipway down to Lihou island's causeway, the only way to and from (at low tide of course!) the small island that is situated the furthest west in the Channel Islands.
Viewed large you can see the old house that was shelled during the German occupation of WWII and to the left of the horizon is Hanois lighthouse......which by now you all know is one of my favourite subjects on the south coast.
Not in view but also on the island is an ancient priory which makes Lihou a fantastic visit during low tide and good weather!
Please view large as usaul!!!
