Reticulated pythons are the longest known snakes (Anakondas get much heavier, but not longer). This species is rather difficult to hold because one can never predict its reaction - many incidents are happening. Tiger pythons are much easier to hold because those are very inaggressive in comparison to the reticulated.
The photographed snake was very long, maybe 5-6m, difficult to say.
