Yesterday I had to go to the groceries store, and decided to use the trip, and take some pictures also, as I'm taking a picture a day these days. I was running rather late, so I thought I'd do the shopping first, and then the photography. But as it was rush hour in the groceries store, it took much longer than I had anticipated, and it was getting rather dark when I got to the location for the photo shoot. So I hurried to place the tripod and take a few shots. And after about five minutes, the blue colour was gone and black had taken it's place, but I was lucky, as I had gotten my picture :)

And as you can see, everything was very beautiful this morning. I was on my way to work, but took this picture on my doorstep, as I was leaving the house.

I've become rather taken with the beauty of trees. That is, trees without leaves, so their structure is visible. Like this old tree with it's wrenched branches.

Oh Im so glad the sun is back, even though it is only for a very limited time each day. It barely peeks up over the mountain tops, and produces almost horizontal sun rays. I absolutely love it!

When I came out of my workplace, this was the view that welcomed me. Wow! I had my camera in my purse (not always the case, since it is rather big and heavy). So I took a snap shot, just in case I wouldn't get another chance. Not the prettiest surroundings though, so I wanted to find a better location for a photo shoot.

But those light conditions don't last very long, and I had to drive home and get my son, and then pick up his friend, and drive them both to another part of town. When all of that was done, the breathtaking colours were gone...
