Stranger #98 - Hannah
The meet-up group were all standing around a small court yard area where Enmore Rd intersects with King St, there were lots people sitting at the outdoor café tables enjoying the shade on a warmish summer day. Neil had just shot the elusive Brittany a gorgeous redhead he had been chasing all day & Evan had done a couple in the area as well. It seemed that we were starting to be noticed by the restaurant patrons and some even started heckling us as we approached strangers. Sensing the commotion going on behind us I turned around & saw a particular table of people that seemed very interested in what we were up to. So I made my way over and introduced myself & explained the details of the project.
I had the pleasure of meeting Hannah, Dallas, his mum & younger brother.
Of course I asked Hannah for a photo and then all of a sudden the table bursts in laughter, but I wasn’t getting the joke. As it turns out, Hannah Saul is a professional catwalk model, so this made it almost impossible for her to say no. With lots of encouragement from her family, we quickly shot some frames sitting at the table.
No pressure for me!
Hannah has been modelling fashion for three years now and is handled by Chic Management. Her international career took off after winning The “Next New York Model Search” at the Australian Fashion Design Awards in 2009. Since then she has worked in many parts of the world & had just completed a fashion show in Sydney for Chanel.
We chatted about her work in general and how her & Dallas were about to get engaged. This meant I just had to ask Dallas for a photo as well.
Thanks for being part of my Strangers Project even though it probably felt like work.
