    Workers weaken support beams on the east tower of the Lafayette Building, just hours before the last remnants of the 14-story tower were spectacularly pushed to the ground.

      The important question is Lafayette or American? I'm a big fan of Lafayette but it's been ages (last flew in for the Autorama in 2002 and naturally went to Lafayette for a two Coney Islands ). I never took notice of the now disappeared building on top.
