KSC-2010-1553 (01/18/2010) --- CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – At the Astrotech Space Operations facility in Titusville, Fla., a worker affixes the identifying mission and agency logos to the Delta IV payload fairing that will protect NASA's GOES-P meteorological satellite during launch. GOES-P, the latest Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellite, was developed by NASA for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, or NOAA. GOES-P is designed to watch for storm development and observed current weather conditions on Earth.
