Designing our new countertop

We've got a really neat concept for the countertop that hopefully will work. First of all, it will be 2" thick concrete. Second, we're thinking that it would be really cool to embed glass in the shape of the Mississippi River near our house (St. Louis area). Then we want to route fiber-optic cable lights into the bottom of the glass so that we can light it up. These pictures show Kristin working on a full-size template that we'll probably use for cutting the plate glass to embed in the countertop.
