the ironic burning of a watertower factory.Someone threw firecrackers over the wall of a watertower factory in Williamsburg or July 4th. The resulting fire caused a bit of damage and scorched these two mopeds somethin awful. Both had seriously melted parts. The taillights, ignition buttons, dials, and seats were pretty much flamerized.

Guggenheim
Tim and I were coming from the Guggenheim where we had seen a fantastic exhibit on Frank Lloyd Wright and some of his grander projects. Most of the projects went unfinished, like the mile high office tower or the futuristic cultural center and university for Baghdad.

Kent.There's Graffiti up and down pretty much every wall in Williamsburg when you are close to the water. There is something about that type of grungy [formerly] industrial area that I really get excited by and appreciate. Apparently, taggers get a similar feeling and see blank canvas.

Tim making out with his burritoTim let me borrow his Mamiya 7 for a day and he borrowed my Hassie. I gotta say, it's a lovely camera. I shoot very differently with it, but that might have just been because I only had it for a day.
