Citizens Bank's new logo

Citizens Bank's new logo by RodBegbie.
Looks somewhat familiar, reminding me of my student days when the RBoS made my penniless days miserable. I wish Bank of Scotland or Clydesdale owned a local bank. I'd join in a flash!

Sorry, but the Bank of Scotland no longer exists. They "merged" with the Halifax and about the only thing left are the bank notes. It simply isn't the same bank any more.

Yeah, I knew about the HBOS thang, because my UK account's still with them.

Of course, Clydesdale Bank's owned by an Australian bank. I always liked the way they subtly changed their logo after the buyout to include two diagonal stripes, in order to mimic their parent company's logo.

Ugh, the Royal Bank. I used to work for those cocks.

Internally, that logo was known as 'The Flying Arsehole'.

I used to work for RBS in the UK. I agree with Otoro. Ugh.
Citizens claim the logo is more 'contemporary'. RBS have been using that logo for about 35 years I think.....albeit blue, not green.
At least they're not your typical bank. Most other banks offer good service. That's my two cents worth anyway :)

"Contemporary"? - Well, even if RBS have been using that logo for 35 years, it is modeled on something that is around 400 years old - The Union Flag.
