This is Central Park South seen from the Time Warner building looking down W 59th Street. I took this one year ago and finally got around to processing it this week!
If you want to see this in person, visit the Mandarin Oriental Hotel (80 Columbus Circle) and visit the 35th floor. There, you'll find a restaurant called Asiate and the hotel's cocktail lounge (open to all). Neither will be busy. It's a great place to ride out a storm. The weather was great on the day I took this, but I had a few hours before my flight back to Toronto and I didn't have any proper skyline shots yet.

amazing view and thanks for sharing the information on how to get to this location! Just wish that I had read this sooner... we were back in Manhattan in early October. We had some killer city views from our hotel - the Millennium UN Plaza. They have 2 towers and also offer views of the East River in the other building which we previewed when we used the 28th floor pool.... lots of pics in my newest set if you are interested.
as always love the natural/retro tones in your PP work!
