THE BUCHAILLE ETIVE MOR

THE BUCHAILLE ETIVE MOR

I was with Daniel and Jim on the way back from Isle of Skye to Edinburgh. This location I wished to show Jim absolutely still. Jim walked away alone. After a brief shooting with Dani we had to rescued from a heavy shower in the car. Only Jim was still out there somewhere, and certainly was drenched by rain. When the weather calmed down we went in the direction of this capturing. I was worried that Jim during the rain something has happened. Because the ground was marshy and you could stumble easily. The site was because of the many small hills difficult to overlook. So I gave up the search for Jim and devoted myself to photography again.

It is not easy to share one location when photographing in the group. Difficulty is to use a super wide angle. Since one can view the same, photograph is only practical side by side, otherwise you stand the fellow in front of the picture. We had to wait some time for the sun breaking through the clouds. This time we took advantage to place the camera on the tripod right. If you have time you can put a special eye on the foreground arrangement. Then the light came, the subject is completely changed, it gained color and texture. Refletionen on the surface of the water began to play. I feel I had composed the viepoint correctly, with the mountain in center and the puddle goes around. The situation of photograph was very stressful, cause the light changes very quickly. Heavy wind blows the camera against and shook my tripod. The capture time was 10 seconds in use of the 9-stop ND-Filter. I had to do several shots to have a sharp one. Sometimes I had to clean the front glass of the lens from the drops coming with the wind.
